Book Description – The Road to React

The Road to React – You’ll learn all the principles of React.js with Hooks while constructing a full-fledged React application step by step in “The Road to React.” Every chapter will introduce you to a new React important feature as you build the React application. There is, however, more to it than the fundamentals: The book delves into related topics (for example, React with TypeScript, Testing, and Performance Optimizations) as well as sophisticated feature implementations such as client- and server-side searching. You’ll have a fully functional, deployed React application at the end of the book.

Individual courses can be an excellent method to broaden your knowledge in any profession. In the field of technology, I’ve discovered some excellent resources. Robin Wieruch’s Road to Learn React is far and away from the best I’ve come across. His unique selling point is that he doesn’t make any assumptions regarding past knowledge. Other teachers assumed I knew definitions and explanations, so I looked them up. Perhaps I should have known them, but when everyone assumes expertise, there is little room for knowledge to expand.

His answers were not an attempt to “dumb things down,” but rather a commitment to accuracy. This was true not only in terms of explaining things but also in terms of selecting course material. He appears to have an instinctive understanding of how principles build on each other, and as a result, he doesn’t pass over what may appear to be minor details in the grand scheme of things. He places the bricks one on top of the other with care.

About The Author

Robin Wieruch is a software and web developer from Germany who is passionate about learning and teaching JavaScript programming. He continued to learn on his own every day after completing his master’s degree in computer science. He obtained expertise in the startup industry, where he spent much of his business and personal time using JavaScript. It allowed him to pass on his knowledge of these subjects to others.

Robin spent a few years developing large-scale applications with a fantastic team of engineers at a firm called Small Improvements. Customers can provide feedback to their companies via the company’s SaaS solution. The frontend of this program is built with JavaScript, and the backend is built with Java. The first iteration of the frontend was created in Java using the Wicket Framework and jQuery. The organization switched to Angular 1. x for the frontend application when the first generation of SPAs got popular. After more than two years of using Angular, it became evident that it wasn’t the greatest answer for working with state-intensive applications back then. That’s why the company made the ultimate switch to React and Redux, which has allowed it to successfully function on a huge scale.
