Book Description – Swift for Beginners: Develop and Design pdf

Swift for Beginners: Develop and Design – Learning a new programming language can be difficult. With Swift, Apple has lowered the barrier of entry for developing iOS and OS X apps by giving developers a brand new programming language for Cocoa and Cocoa Touch.

This book has been written keeping in mind the beginners. In a sense, we are all starting with Swift because it is such a new language. However, many of those who want to learn Swift as a first or second computer language has no experience with Objective-C or the related languages C and C++.

Ideally, the reader will have some understanding and experience with computer language; Nevertheless, the book has been stylized to appeal to the young man who is motivated enough to learn. More experienced developers will probably find the first few chapters to be review material and light reading as the concepts are ubiquitous in many computer languages but still important for introducing Swift to beginners.
