GATE Eligibility Criteria

Who can apply for GATE 2020?

  • Final year and pass out students :-

Candidate should have to pass their bachelor’s degree or candidate should have in the final year will to eligible to appear in this exam. Students who have pass their Bachelor degree will be eligible to give GATE Exam.

  • No Age Limit :-

There is no age limit to take GATE exam, There is no upper limit age bar and the candidates are eligible only after their Bachelor Degree achievement. No age restriction is there in GATE Exam. Candidates need to get marks above the GATE cut off and here is the pattern of examination.

  • No attempts Limits :-

GATE Aspirants can give GATE test many times as they want. There is No limit for attempting GATE 2020 Exam. Candidates can attempt more than one time. There are even many lecturers/professors who appear in GATE exam.

  • Backlogs Eligible :-

Candidates should also give GATE exam even if there are backlogs in their previous semesters. They can apply for GATE 2020 using the marks sheet for the final semesters of your Bachelor degree. But, you will have to clear your backlog by August 2020 to be able to avail admissions in M. Tech.

  • GATE marks valid for 3 years :-

GATE scores will be valid for a period of three years from the date of the release of the result. Candidates will take admission in any college or university on the basis of their GATE scores within the time period of 3 years.
