About The Author:


Fundamentals of Thermodynamics – Richard E. Sonntag received his BSE, MSE and PhD. Degree, all in mechanical engineering from the University of Michigan. He is a professor of mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan and has served as department head for eleven years. He is a fellow of ASME and serves on several committees within ASME and has been the Vice-Chairman and Chairman of Regional Department Heads. Klaus Borgnacke earned his MSE and PhD. From the Technical University of Denmark. He is an Associate Professor at the University of Michigan, where he won the Excellence Award as well as Ralph E. from SAE. Has received other awards and recognitions, including the Teetor Award.
